Everything you need to know before booking your photographer.
How do I book you?
After a first conversation, I send a detailed quote and an online contract. The booking is confirmed on receipt of a 30% deposit; the balance is settled 14 days after the wedding.
When should we get in touch?
As early as possible — dates fill up quickly, especially from May to October. Ideally 6 to 12 months before your wedding.
How does the pre-wedding or post-wedding session work?
An outdoor portrait session of about an hour and a half. The pre-wedding session lets you get used to the camera before the day itself; the post-wedding one extends the story in a more relaxed setting afterwards.
What is your style?
Documentary and cinematic. I look for the true moments — a glance, the closeness between you, laughter that arrives on its own — rather than arranged poses, working with natural light and careful composition.
Do you speak English?
Yes — I work in French and in English. I've lived in Canada and in the UK, so planning a wedding in France from abroad is familiar ground.
What if it rains?
Rain is never a problem. Soft, overcast light creates unique moods — some of my favourite images were made in the rain. I always scout covered alternatives in advance.
When should we take the couple portraits on the day?
The best moment is during the drinks reception, ideally about 15 minutes before sunset for the golden light. It also gives us a quiet moment away from the crowd, which is where the most natural portraits come from.
Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
I usually work alone, to stay unobtrusive and build a real relationship with you. If you'd also like your day filmed, I can bring a videographer alongside me.
Do you also film?
Yes. Alongside the photographs I make cinematic clips of 2 to 3 minutes that carry the atmosphere and the emotion of the day. For fuller video coverage, I can bring a videographer alongside me.
How much does it cost?
Collections run from €500 for a two-hour town hall ceremony to €2,800 for unlimited coverage of the whole day. Every price is listed on the collections page — there's no quote to chase.
What equipment do you use?
Professional Canon bodies with fast prime lenses. They let me work in any light — indoors, and late into the evening — with excellent image quality and the soft background blur that separates you from everything behind you.
How do we see our photographs?
Your photos are delivered on a private, secure online gallery. You receive a personal link you can share with your guests, so they can relive the day too.
Why does delivery take about two months?
Every image is chosen carefully and retouched by hand. That patient work is what gives the gallery a consistent look, and a quality that holds from the first photograph to the last.
How many photos will we receive, and when?
It depends above all on how long I'm there. Expect at least 200 photographs for two hours, and at least 1,000 for a full day. I'm not chasing volume: you get the images that mean something, each one chosen and retouched individually. One or two reach you within 48 hours, then the complete gallery within 6 to 8 weeks.
Do you travel outside Paris?
Yes, across France and abroad. Travel is included within 30 km of the Hauts-de-Seine; beyond that a travel cost applies, and for distant destinations we agree a tailored arrangement together.
Do you offer prints and albums?
Absolutely. Leather-bound albums, fine-art prints and duplicate albums for your parents, all made by specialist labs. I'll walk you through the options when we talk.
